Paramedics attended a scene in Salisbury city centre this evening next to the A36.

The air ambulance landed in Salisbury City Centre and touched down in an open area at Greencroft Street.

Paramedics later rushed to the home near the Greencroft green.

The Hampshire air ambulance flew low over the city buildings as it attended the incident at 6.00pm yesterday.

A fire engine and an ambulance also attended the scene.

The South Western Ambulance Service was unable to provide any details as the helicopter was responding to an incident at a private address.

It is not known what type of situation the ambulance was responding to.
