No 47 on Christie Miller Road is set to be dismantled, with the roof completely removed by military teams in the wake of the nerve agent named ‘Novichok’ being cleaned-up.
Wiltshire Council has written to neighbouring houses to warn them about the disturbance that the “deep clean” will cause.
Special detectives assume the pair first came into contact with the nerve agent when it was sprayed on the door handle of their property at Christie Miller Road.
The council’s director said that the contractors will spend over a month working on the Skirpials property, including erecting a scaffolding to cover the house with a “sealed frame”
Following the sealed frame being put over the property, the military teams will dismantle and remove the roofs of the two buildings over two weeks.
