Wiltshire Police are asking for anyone with information after a man was threatened at knife-point by another man in Amesbury.

The incident took place in the car park of a distribution centre in Meridian Way, at 2.00 am on the 16th of January

The 25-year-old man was approached by another man, who started being aggressive and was “shouting and swearing” and proceeded to pull a knife out and followed with threats.

Police believe that the suspect may know the victim.

PC Thomas Newman said: “While this was a scary experience for the victim, we believe this was an isolated incident and we’d like to reassure the public that we are carrying out a thorough investigation.

“Our enquiries are ongoing and we have released a CCTV image of a man we would like to speak to in connection with the incident. Do you recognise him? He is described as white, approximately 6 ft 4 inches tall, and aged in his late 30s. He was of slender build and had black curly hair and dark eyes.”
