Salisbury City Watch is seeking volunteers to help monitor Salisbury’s CCTV system.

Since August 2017, the CCTV system has been running 24 hours a day, to ensure the city streets remain safe from visitors or residents.

Richard Goodman, Salisbury CCTV manager, is reaching out for a team of volunteers to monitor the system at prime times during the day.

Richard Goodman, Salisbury CCTV manager, said: “Becoming a volunteer for Salisbury’s CCTV is a great way of giving back to your community and supporting the city.

“If you have good communication skills, are able to work under pressure and are committed to Salisbury’s security and public safety, then we’d love to hear from you.”

Volunteers will be trained and will work within a strict code of practice.
